Can I view dental ads for free?
Yes. Visitors to Dentropolis can go to the dental classified ads, choose the section of ads they want to view (such as dental jobs), and they can view all the ads for dental jobs for free.

Can I post dental ads for free?
Yes. You can post as many ads in Dentropolis as you want. To post ads you first register for a free account. This provides you with a Username and Password which you will use to post new ads and edit or delete your existing ads.

What kinds of ads can I post or view?
We have created ad sections for dental jobs, general dental classifieds ads and dental meetings and seminars. These sections are further subdivided into sections for each of various dental professions such as dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental lab technicians, etc.

Why must I register for an account before I post an ad?
People can view ads for free without registering for an account. However, when you post an ad it is "your" ad. You will need to "own" your ad. When you register for an account you create your own username and password. When you want to post ads or edit your existing ads your username and password make this easy for you to do.

How do I edit or delete my ad?
Your ad is "attached" to your username & password. Each ad has a "Modify or delete ad" link on the ad. You simply click on this link, provide your username and password and you will immediately be able to edit or delete your ad.

Do you keep our information confidential?
Yes. Your email address is never exposed with your ad. In place of your email address is a "reply to ad" link that allows us to forward messages from you ad viewers directly to you using your email address that you provide in your account information.

What if I want to be anonymous in my ad?
In many instances such as job ads you may wish your ad to be anonymous. This is easy for you to do as you can control the info so that it contains no defining contact information if you choose. You can still provide your accurate email address as this is replaced with a "reply to ad" link and is never exposed to the viewer.

Why is Dentropolis free?
Dentropolis follows the online philosophy of Google, Yahoo, Wikipedia and other sites that believe that free access to information will lead to building the best dental classified ads. To be the best the site has to have lots of ads. If it is free to both post and view ads, more and more people will use the site and its value will increase dramatically. For this to occur word-of-mouth advertising is essential.
